  1. Grammerly: best app for grammar and writing

Everything from writing several essays to sending text messages — grammarly’s got you! This app has three different versions: Free, Premium $30 per month, and Grammerly Business $15 per month. You can also install the extension for MacOS or Chrome to help you detect any grammatical errors and find perfect words to express yourself. A Grammarly Keyboard app is also available for iOS and Android when writing on-the-go emails or even social media posts.

2. Google Drive: perfect for storing word documents/photos

Whether on your laptop, tablet or phone — Google Drive is accessible anywhere. Google Drive syncs all of your content across all devices and it’s a complete life-saver. It contains everything from Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, to downloading files as PDFs. All the files are also shareable with anyone when working on group projects. You can also determine the editing another person can do whether it be only view, edit, or download. Google drive is also compatible for MacOS, Chrome; iOS and Andriod.

3. Microsoft OneNote: perfect app for note-taking

It’s a free app to use on any computer when writing notes or even on a tablet using a stylus. It has amazing features that would usually have to be paid for. The organization it provides is amazing! You can create different “notebooks,” for example: School, Personal, Business. Under each notebook, you can add your college courses and under those courses you can create sections for each chapter or lesson. Highlighting, drawing, underlining and even audio recording directly onto your notes is available. Microsoft OneNote also syncs to all of your other devices and you don’t have to pay anything for that!

4. Taskade: planning and to-do lists

It can be available both as an app or extension and you can download it on any device or operating system. You can add new projects and organize them tags. It will also show you a bar to track your progress so you can reach your goal on completion! You can also add deadlines to everything and even a calendar view to see all of your upcoming due dates. A cool feature is that you can also add friends to your project and chat with them live while working on a project!

5. One Tab: storing important sites and keeping them all together

When it comes to writing an essay or doing research, fifty tabs can accumulate on your browser and you don’t want to close them because they all contain useful information. Well that’s not a problem anymore! One Tab stores all the open tabs in one tab. You can group different tabs together and name groups for easy access. You can also lock groups so link won’t dissapear after they are opened. The extension automatically clears the open tabs when you click on it. You can also choose what tabs you want to save. Having so many open tabs on your browser can defenitly slow your computer down so using One Tab will be a life-saver.
