Maybe you should try it too.

As a 24 year old, full-time college student, and working from home, it can definitely be hard and stressful to create a daily schedule. So I knew I had to do something to fix it, and so I did and here are the results:

  1. Happier Days: If we’re being real, waking up around 9 or 10 is very common and happens more than it should. The start to the day is already lagging behind, breakfast is eaten late and workflow is just terrible — to say the least you probably still feel tired. There’s something about early mornings, you see the light of day even before the light peaks through your window. You get to experience the sunrise. The freshness and easiness. There’s no waking up grumpy.
  2. Improvement: Who else has those days where they just dread going to work, school, or even working from home? You can’t tell me you don’t. I could right away see my improvement throughout the day. I was ready to get to work and the flow was just easy.
  3. Energy: Even when I got out of bed around 9 or 10, I still felt tired and didn’t know why. Waking up around 5am just hits different. Although you may think your body will still be tired, trust me it’s worth waking up at 5am. I felt so upbeat and and there was just an intense energy to my mind and body. I felt unstoppable.
  4. Productivity: I never had time for anything. I mean, nothing. Although getting out of bed around 9 doesn’t seem too late, trust me, there’s no time to get things done afterwards. Or at least if there is, you will accomplish one thing on your list and be totally exhausted and ready to be done. Waking up at 5am really helped me check things off my to-do list.
  5. Become Healthy: I instantly had the energy to feel the need to eat healthier. Not only that, but cook healthy meals. When you eat early you get hungry earlier which helps the digestive system because it’s already not healthy to eat past 5pm, 6pm or even 7pm. That already decreases the chance of consuming late-night calories.

Now it’s your turn, you can change your lifestyle and make it a healthy one.
